We Finally Talked To Someone From Nike
Two legends on the pod this week with decades of experience to share.
Starting Line
Somehow we managed to get two of our dream guests on the podcast in the same week. Matt Sharkey and Steve Holmberg are friends and mentors that we hold in high regard, and we hope that this is the first of many appearances from both of them. Metric tons of knowledge dropped over the span of both episodes, here we go!
Getting Into (And Out Of) The Outdoor Industry
Matt Sharkey joins the pod! Our good friend and key man on the Linked In page (the source of all our job posts) was in town for a special chat - and to lay the groundwork for what we hope will be many, many more appearances. As someone who has worked both in and out of the outdoor industry, his perspective on building a career is one-of-a-kind.
Ex-Nike Employee: The Industry Upheaval
With Dylan out of the country for UTMB, we had a special guest sit in on the Friday podcast to riff on industry topics. Aaron was joined by Steve Holmberg, who recently moved on from Nike after nearly 17 years in Brand, Consumer Insights and Strategy roles.

I thought this was great. I also want to hear more stories of the Hash House Harriers, though.
